Senshuken Martial Arts
At Senshuken Martial Arts, providing quality satisfaction to all our members is imperative, including a fun and safe environment with the most up-to-date, top of the line equipment. Our instructors are Canada’s top athletes and world class champions with over 25 years of training experience.
All programs offered are age and level specific. Our highly trained instructors are extremely caring and compassionate. We encourage positive character development, discipline, and strong overall wellbeing throughout the programs. At Senshuken Martial Arts, we take great pride in our members and offer our students various disciplines. Karate, Taekwondo, and self defence are incorporated into every program, giving our members the experience of learning technical and challenging skills in a fun and encouraging environment.
At Senshuken, the whole body is exercised. Through systematic practice a person’s physical fitness, such as strength, stamina, flexibility, movement coordination, and concentration will be boosted. In addition to physical fitness, students will enhance their self-esteem, self-control, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Senshuken Martial Arts will have a significant impact on each individual’s life regardless of age and/or gender. We encourage and lead each student to have the proper mindset, with a positive resilient attitude leading them to endless possibilities in the years to come.

Sensei Saeed Baghbani
Head Instructor, Sensei Saeed Baghbani, is a 5th degree Black Belt and has dedicated more than 27 years of his life to the discipline of Karate. Sensei Saeed is the first and only Canadian Karate Gold Medalist at the Pan-American Games (second-largest international multi-sport Games after the Olympic Summer Games). He has learned and experienced several things through his travels with the Canadian National Karate Team and has achieved levels of success that no athlete has yet demonstrated. These are only a very small percentage of his many successes throughout his athletic career. Aside from competitions, Sensei Saeed has had the opportunity to teach at many prestigious Martial Arts schools. He now gives his full attention to all members at Senshuken Martial Arts, sharing his knowledge and experiences in order to help children, youth and adults believe and strive to become the best they can be.

Sensei Nadja Bratic
Sensei Nadja Bratic, is a 4th Degree Black Belt in the discipline of Karate and has over 25 years of experience in the art. She is a 5 year undefeated Canadian National Champion, 10 year undefeated Provincial champion, and has the only Junior Silver medal for Canada from the 2007 WKF Junior World Championships. She has been dedicated to contributing the gift of Martial Arts throughout our rising community, and helps teach each student the value of self-discipline, respect, and most importantly, confidence.

Kohai Melissa Bratic is a 2nd degree Black belt and has been training the art Karate for 15 years. She is currently ranked top 20 in the world by WKF (World Karate Federation) in the Women’s -68kg Kumite (sparring) category and is striving to one day be the best in the world. She is a multi talented athlete with numerous achievements under her belt. To date she has not been defeated at the Ontario Provincial level and is 5 time Canadian National Champion. When not training for her next big event she loves teaching and sharing her passion for the art with the members at Senshuken.
