Senshuken Martial Arts Academy offers martial arts classes in Newmarket for kids, teens and adults of all experience levels. Our programs combine structured martial arts training with fitness, self-defence, confidence building and personal development in a supportive environment.

From young beginners taking their first martial arts class to teens and adults looking to improve their skills, fitness or competitive ability, our programs are designed to help each student progress at their own pace.

At Senshuken Martial Arts Academy, a wide variety of classes and programs are offered in an educational and fun atmosphere.

Our programs are dynamic and physically challenging. Senshuken Martial Arts offers the best and most realistic self-defense programs available for children, teens, and adults. Encouraging and enhancing our member’s patience, character, determination, self-discipline, self-control, respect, and confidence is vital.

Senshuken MAA programs incorporate individual, partner, and group drills to develop youngster’s overall physical and psychological excellence. Extracting attention and imagination, along with intriguing the interest for learning is our priority. With many years of teaching experience, we create an energetic atmosphere full of learning and self improvement.

RISING STARS- Kids Martial Arts (AGES 5-8)

The Rising Stars program is designed to bring out each child’s potential while improving their overall fitness, confidence, and martial arts skills. Students learn the importance of respect, discipline, focus, and perseverance while having fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Through our structured curriculum, children develop balance, coordination, strength, and reflexes, while building valuable life skills such as self-confidence, self-control, determination, teamwork, and leadership.

SHOOTING STARS- Kids Martial Arts (AGES 9-14)

Adding to the Rising Stars program requirements, and through systematic practice, the student’s physical fitness, such as strength, stamina, flexibility, movement coordination, and concentration will be boosted. In addition, students will enhance their self-esteem, self-control, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

ADULT MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAM

Through the diverse martial arts programs offered at Senshuken, adult members develop practical skills while improving their fitness, confidence, and overall well-being. Our classes provide a dynamic and supportive environment where members can challenge themselves, build strength and endurance, relieve stress, and continue progressing at their own pace.

KICKBOXING & MMA CLASS (AGES 14 & UP)

Our Kickboxing and MMA classes help teens and adults build striking skills, fitness, coordination and confidence through structured, progressive training. Students work on practical techniques, footwork, combinations, conditioning and controlled partner drills in a supportive training environment. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced martial artist, classes are designed to challenge you at your level and help you continue developing your skills.

WEDNESDAY – PANCAKE & GAMES DAY

JAM PACKED DAY OF ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING; PANCAKE BRUNCH (WITH ALL THE TOPPINGS), MARTIAL ARTS AND A GIANT JENGA CONTEST!

THURSDAY

KARATE OLYMPICS – A KARATE OLYMPIC CONTEST, WITH VARIOUS EXERCISES AND PRIZES TO CHALLENGE THE CAMPERS IN AN INTERACTIVE AND FUN WAY!

FRIDAY
